Applebrook Bed & Breakfast About half a mile south of Jefferson village on Route 115A is a marvelous Victorian home painted with authentic period colors. This is Applebrook Bed & Breakfast. It is popular with hikers out on the CT. You may lay the packs down at the B&B, thanks to your hosts, Joy and Tom McCorkhill. There are plenty of rooms in the wonderful old Victorian inn. Applebrook is a perfect jumping off point for hiking making the two-three day journey over the Kilkenny Ridge Trail section of the CT to South Pond in Stark or for exploring the Pondicherry Wildlife Refuge. They offer a discount on lodging to members of the Cohos Trail Association as well as accept supply caches for thru hikers.
