We are scheduled to begin completing the Mountain Bungalow as soon as weather permits. This will be the test site for our future chain of huts. Anyone interested in volunteering to help in the construction or donate funds or materials, please contact us at Cohos Trail or call us at 1 603-538-6777.
Amenities will be very basic. There is a refrigerator, outhouse, sink w/drain, potable water is available at main house, bunk beds, tv with vcr and only two channels, wood and gas heat, electricity, small cooking appliances and dishes.
Vounteers will be able to stay in the Mountain Bungalow or in our 5 tentsite campground at no charge. Proposed prices for the Bungalow will be $30 for groups of 5 or less per person and $25 per person for groups larger than 5 people. All fees are per night.
There is much to do up here. You can hike (Cohos Trail is directly available on premises), snowshoe, shed hunt (moose antler hunting), hunt, fish, canoe, kayak. There is also moose watching, bird watching and host of other activities. Some of the sights are: Magalloway Mountain, Indian Stream Canyon, Hellgate Falls, Garfield Falls, just to name a few.
